Our focus is to buy profitable, well-managed small and medium sized businesses that are market leaders in their niche. In partnership with management, Riverside seeks to grow its portfolio companies through increased capital expenditures, product expansion, increased research and development and/or strategic add-on acquisitions.
Riverside treats every deal with the meticulous care it deserves. We invest in strong companies and prime them to excel, with a plan that will leave them substantially larger and more profitable. We’re proud of this, and aren’t satisfied unless we’ve done well by doing good. It’s an uncommon approach that has generated a lot of success.
We believe that trust should be the engine of private equity, and to earn it, we use it as Riverside’s guiding principle in all our interactions.
